Fernando Fonseca is a millennial, in the good sense of the word. Like some other outstanding millennials, he has worked in several projects as: editor, color grader, DIT and producer. These experiences make him extremely versatile with a lot of knowledge. “I’ve worked in advertising and film since 2005. My focus on management is 100% rhythm and editing, I’ve been involved in all kinds of projects, from documentaries with 3 people doing all the tasks, to larger projects with 180 people per day; I have managed crews from 35 different countries.
My editorial side has made me enjoy every part of the work, from production to post, taking care of every detail like music or color. This has allowed me to work in animated feature films from India and in films that have participated in important festivals worldwide.
I have won awards for best editing at the following festivals
-Burbank International Film Festival (Los Angeles California)
-Depth of Field Festival (Los Angeles California)
-Madrid International Film Festival
-The LA Post Fest. (Los Angeles California)
-Moscow International Film Festival (Associate Producer)
All this experience has defined my work in directing, becoming attention detailed, demanding and with a great ability to solve problems on set.
As a director and producer, I have worked in documentaries for MarViva, Encore Capital, Danielle Levitt & Conde Nast (Cadillac) and Coca Cola Studios, as well as; commercials for Amazon.com, San Marcos University in Costa Rica and Universidad del Isthmus in Panama.
